Instead of dropping dead-tree books for children to read, the same thing can possibly be done by having students download on the Internet what they want to read for themselves. Of course, they should be downloading any learning resource only through legal means and that the content is appropriate. Teachers can also pre-download all possible learning resources to make sure that everything is appropriate for the students. Students would no longer have to download things simultaneously, thus, saving the bandwidth connection in the process.
